A Complete School Bus Security Solution

eTechSchoolBus is designed specifically for the real-time movement tracking of school buses. Parents are extremely worried about children traveling in school buses — rising crime, rash driving and lack of visibility are key concerns. eTechSchoolBus solves this with GPS-tracked buses and RFID-based location updates, so parents always know whether their child has reached school safely. Android notifications and SMS alerts are sent when the bus arrives, and when a student is picked up or dropped off.

RFID Process

How It Works

Each student receives a smart RFID card (nametag) containing their information. An RFID card reader at the bus entrance connects internally to the GPS device. Students tap their card at four key moments:

Pickup — Board

Student taps card while entering the bus at the pickup point in the morning. Parent gets an instant SMS/notification.

Pickup — Arrive School

Student taps card while leaving the bus at school. School admin knows all students have arrived safely.

Drop — Board

Student taps card while boarding the bus after school for the return journey. Parent is notified immediately.

Drop — Arrive Home

Student taps card while leaving the bus at the drop point. Parents receive final confirmation of safe arrival.
